WHO'S THAT LADY ...

Where to start… I’ve always considered myself a creative person, which is what led me into marketing and communications in the first place. Photography, though, is what really stuck.

Over the past 10 years working in marketing and communications roles, especially in events and promotions, I found myself stepping into photo and content capture through “other duties as required.” Most of that work was done using tools like the Samsung S22 Ultra and Canon systems, including some commercial and media work with non-profits and small businesses. Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t just filling a gap. I genuinely loved it, and I was good at it.

Creative work has always been part of my life, and I’ve taken on casual freelance projects for many years alongside my full-time roles. After going through several major losses over a five-year period, photography became something more grounding. It supported my mental health and gave me a way to reconnect with myself and the world around me.

In July 2025, I purchased my Nikon Z6 iii and made the decision to take this work more seriously. Since then, I’ve been building my portfolio, developing a stronger brand presence, and connecting with local communities and businesses to capture editorial, event, and storytelling-focused work.

More recently, I’ve leaned into freelance while on the hunt for a new permanent team. I now combine photography and video with the broader marketing experience I’ve built over the past decade. This includes social media management, content strategy, and campaign support, all grounded in a practical understanding of how content performs and connects.

I’m particularly drawn to capturing atmosphere, candid moments, and the energy of a space. This could be a live event, a street scene, or an editorial shoot. I also enjoy and am open to a range of work, including pets, families, and weddings.

If you’re working on something and need support, whether that’s photography, content, or strategy, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to connect and see if it’s a good fit.
